Tvorba trpného rodu je veľmi jednoduchá:
Predmet + pomocné sloveso to be (vyčasované) + trpné príčastie + zvyšok vety
The car + was + made + in the Czech republic in 2023.
The task + was + developed + by Peter last week.
The lunch + is + being cooked now.
common example:
Earthquake killed 8000 people.
in a newspaper:
8000 people were killed by earthquake last week.
FOCUS of the passive sentence is on the object – in this case the object is more important than the cause.

The roof is being repaired.
exampe 3: They will finish all projects by Monday.
All projects will have been finished by Monday.
When we say what people and things DO, we use active verb forms such as built, speak, is cooking, will make. When we say what HAPPENS to people and things – what is done to them – we often use passive verb forms like was built, is spoken, is being cooked, will be made.
